Midlands Astroturf Masters

The 2011/2012 dates for the ever popular Midlands Astroturf Masters series have now been finalised. The series is open to all abilities and regions and accomodates 2wd and 4wd 1/10th Off Road electric buggies plus 1/10th Short Course Trucks (minimum of six SCT required and these will be in seperate heats from the buggies).

As in previous years, Kidderminster and Coventry will be hosting four rounds each. Your best two score from EACH venue count toward your final score. Entry fee is £5.00 per class, payable on the day.

The dates and venues for each event are as follows:

Round 1: 2nd October: Kidderminster
Round 2: 23rd October: Coventry
Round 3: 20th November: Kidderminster
Round 4: 27th November: Coventry
Round 5: 19th February: Kidderminster
Round 6: 26th February: Coventry
Round 7: 18th March: Coventry
Round 8: 25th March: Kidderminster

Entry method

You enter each event via the club reps directly via email. Send them the following details:

(1) Name
(2) Class (2WD Buggy, 4WD Buggy or Short Course Truck)
(3) Frequency
(4) BRCA Number
(5) Contact Telephone Number
(6) Ability grade (Your 2012 F grade can be used although these are not BRCA sanctioned meetings)

Out of courtesy, please enter each event within reasonable notice, I.E. at least 4 days before the event. There will be an entry cap of 80 positions due to winter daylight hours. There is no control tyre for any MAM events, however BB green minispikes work well at each track. Booking in will be open from 8.30am at each event and there will be open practice at each event before qualifying begins. 4 rounds of qualifying and single leg finals for all...
